This widget is a simple RSS-Reader for Heise.de-News. You can choose between different feeds, which can be displayed in multiple instances.

The Heise-News Widget

Here are some details about the Heise-News Widget, we deployed for Mac OSX 10.4

On the backside of the widget you can choose between different News-Feeds, such as "Heise online", "Heise english", "Heise security", "Heise mobil" and "Heise technology".

Automatic Upate - Feature:

From Version 1.1 on, the widget is able to display a message on the front if an update is available, if you want that feature.

Infos:

The Heise-Widget displays 5 News-Entries. If there are more than 5 unread messages until you reopen the dashboard, you can see the "show unread"-button at the bottom of the widget. Next to it is the number of news you haven´t read.

If you want to see the last news, you can click on "show all" at the bottom. This displays you the last 15 news.
